Aggressive kitten problems is something that many cat owners experience. Sadly this leads to a lot of frustration on their part. However, it does not have to be this way.

Here are three common aggressive kitten problems and tips on how you can solve them quicker and with a lot less frustration then you are currently experiencing.

First of all, one of the most common causes of aggressive kittens is the lack of early handling by people. This is often seen in kittens who are rescued from the wild.

However this lack of early handling of kittens can be overcome if you have time and patience. Slowly build up how much time your cat tolerates being handled over time.

On the opposite end of the spectrum are kittens that were raised exclusively by humans. These are often orphaned kittens that were placed in the care of people who raised them. Since these kittens do not learn how to play with other kittens, they do not know how the difference between play biting and actual biting. So instead of playing, they actually give you a painful bite.

This problem can be solved by immediately correcting your kitten when they do bite you. This can be done by immediately stopping play with them and even isolating them in a room for 10-15 minutes.

Another common kitten problem is biting of toes. If you find that your kitten is biting your toes this could mean several things, but mostly it is caused by boredom.

This could be solved by increasing the amount of exercise that your kitten gets. A simple way to do this by simply adding some toys to the house. You may even think about getting a companion kitten as well.

The most important tip to solving aggressive kitten problems is that you have to act consistently towards your kitten. It has to be clear to them about what type of behavior is not allowed.
